Job description

Do you fancy a varied HR role? Edpnet is looking for an HR & Office Assistant, who can provide solid support for the wide range of HR activities, from recruitment to end of career. You will work closely with our Head of HR and ensure the correct execution of a variety of administrative and organisational tasks in the HR department.


Here's what you'll be doing:

In this position, you will gain HR experience in a stimulating work environment, supporting and improving all HR functions.

  • You will maintain personnel files and perform day-to-day personnel administration, supported by user-friendly HR software, with a Self Service tool for employees;
  • You flawlessly take care of the payroll for our employees, under the supervision of the Head of HR, in collaboration with the social secretariat.
  • You monitor the HR mailbox and process employee requests and queries;
  • You are the first point of contact for all common socio-legal issues, for which you can rely on the expertise of the Head of HR. This way, you gradually build up your own expertise;
  • You support the recruitment process from A to Z, in our candidate follow-up system. You publish vacancies, follow up incoming CVs, give feedback to candidates and recruitment partners, schedule interviews and follow everything up administratively to the finish line;
  • You take care of welcoming new employees, following a fixed pattern;
  • You are responsible for the operational follow-up of training courses;
  • You take on a number of administrative tasks in the areas of Office Management and Fleet;
  • You also support our Head of HR in various HR projects, personnel events, internal communication and the like.

Job requirements

Knowledge and skills you need to be successful as an HR & Office Assistant:

The HR & Office Assistant position requires:

  • computer literacy and experience with MS Office applications;
  • excellent administrative and organisational skills;
  • ability to handle sensitive information confidentially;
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • perfect mastery of Dutch, good knowledge of English.

Candidates who also possess one or more of the following assets will have an advantage:

  • Demonstrable work experience as an HR administrative assistant;
  • Practical experience with HR software;
  • Knowledge of labour legislation;
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or a relevant field.
